It is easy to gen­tly mock Rhinehart’s ide­al­is­tic, odd pros­e­ly­tiz­ing, and, in turn, Val­ley cul­ture itself. Soy­lent and oth­er solu­tion­ist ideas are hyper-effi­cient in ethos, but also joy­less and self-right­eous in their asceti­cism.
